Friday Night Camps

This free friday camp is designed for individuals who want a little extra training with the ball. Registration is required. Please register by emailing clubcoach@skylinesoccer.org. All Friday night camps will be held at Kennedy Soccer Complex. All Skyline Soccer Association Clinics are coached by Skyline professional coaches.

Programs, Dates and Times:

Developmental U5 - U8

For all U5, U6, U7 and U8 Developmental players. Held at Kennedy Soccer Complex.

March 26 - 5 - 6 p.m. - proper technique, parts of foot, 1v1 moves.
April 16 - 5 - 6 p.m. - proper technique, inside of foot/outside of foot, first touch when receiving (like a pillow).
May 7 - 5 - 6 p.m. - juggling, controlling bouncing balls, proper technique with shooting (ankle/foot/knee).
May 14 - 5 - 6 p.m. - proper technique, parts of foot, 1v1 moves.

Center of excellence (U9 and U10 players)

For all U9 and U10 Developmental, Cross Quad and Intermediate players. Held at Kennedy Soccer Complex.

March 19 - 5 - 6 p.m. - dribbling with emphasis on explosive technical speed and 1 v 1 moves.
April 9 - 5 - 6 p.m. - passing with emphasis on a quality first touch, appropriate weight on the ball, and movement off the ball.
April 30 - 5 - 6 p.m. - dribbling with emphasis on explosive technical speed and 1 v 1 moves.
May 14 - 6 - 7 p.m. - finishing; dealing with finishing from service, with your back to the goal, and finishing off a dribble or a pass. Emphasis is on using the appropriate service to finish.

Senior academy U11 and up

For all U11 and up Competitive, Intermediate and Developmental players. Held at Kennedy Soccer Complex.

March 12 - 5 - 6:30 p.m. - 1 v 1 attacking with an emphasis on 1 v 1 moves, explosive technical speed, and finishing.
April 2 - 5 - 6:30 p.m. - 1 v 1 defending with an emphasis on appropriate decision making and proper technique.
April 23 - 5 - 6:30 p.m. - Passing verses penetration, how to commit defenders and when to get teammates involved.

March 12 - U8, U9 & U10 players - 5 - 6 p.m. - Technical catching, footwork
March 19 - U11+ Competitive, Intermediate, Developmental - 5 - 6:00 p.m. - Technical catching, footwork
March 26 - U11+ Competitive, Intermediate, Developmental - 5 - 6:00 p.m. - Technical catching, diving, footwork
April 2 - U8, U9 & U10 players - 5 - 6 p.m. - Technical catching, diving, footwork
April 9 - U11+ Competitive, Intermediate, Developmental - 5 - 6:00 p.m. - Footwork, cutting down the angle

Rapids Night - Spring 2010

With such great fun and success last spring, we will be hosting a Colorado Rapids night again for all Skyline families. Come out and meet some of the United States' best soccer players. We will be having the two hour camp on May 18th from 5 - 7 p.m. at Kennedy Soccer Complex. The cost is $20 and includes a ticket to see the world class Rapids play the Seattle Sounders on May 29th. Kids of all ages can register. Parents, to purchase a ticket for yourself to see the game with your child, the cost is $20 and can be purchased online when registering your child.

Format:
5:00 - Meet the Rapids players
5:10 - Break off into groups
5:15 - 6:30 - Work with Rapids player, coaches and mascots.
6:30 - 7:00 - Scrimmage, Rapids vs. Skyline.
7:00 - 7:10 - Autograph and picture session.
