Skyline Coaching Clinics

Our clinics are free to all coaches. Real practice sessions are conducted with age appropriate Skyline teams while club coaches analyze and discuss interactions with coaches in attendance.

This season, our coaching clinics will correspond with our player camps, allowing better demonstration and application.

All sessions are at Kennedy Soccer Complex. Here's the schedule:

U6 through U8:
TBD

U9 and U10:
TBD

U11 and up:

National Coaching Licenses

Skyline encourages all of its Coaches to become licensed and reimburses its coaches for the cost of obtaining a State Youth License and/or CYS's State Level "E" and "D" License. Any coach who attends the annual CYS Coaching Symposium will be reimbursed for the cost of the registration fee by the Club upon presentation of proof of attendance, as well.

The United States Soccer Federation coaching program starts with an entry level "E" license and moves progressively through to the level "A" course. Colorado Youth Soccer administers the "E" & "D" level courses and US Soccer Federation administers the "C", "B" & "A" level courses.

State Youth License:

Broken down into three, six-hour modules (Level I - U-6, U-8; Level II U-10 and Level III U-12). To receive your State Youth License, all three levels must be completed. However, modules can be taken separately. Certificates will be given for each module.

"E" Level Course:

18 hours of instruction, geared for beginning coaches or partially experienced coaches. Emphasis on players between the ages of 11 through 14 development. No prerequisite.

"D" Level Course:

36 hours of instruction, geared for more experienced coaches. Emphasis is on players between the ages of 15 through 19 with more tactical instruction. Prerequisite is an "E" license or CSYSA waiver.

"C" "B" & "A" Level Course:

A week long course of instruction. Coaches must achieve the previous level course to progress to the next level. "C" level candidate must have state "D" license.
