Are you a parent of a Munchkin and wish you could have signed him or her up for an indoor session?! We have had a few spots open up for the Monday Munchkin Indoor Session from 6:00 - 6:45pm. The session runs from now until March 26. Please give Liz O'Donnell a call (303.691.5662) if you'd like to register!
Here is a quick breakdown of information you need to know about the Grasshopper and Munchkin indoor program:
- A minimum of 6 players are needed to hold a session. If less than 6 players are enrolled when registration closes, the session will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded (or moved).
- No more than 9 players will be allowed to register for a session.
- All sessions will be held at our indoor facility at 2370 S. Colorado Boulevard, Denver, 80222.
- The cost per program (6 sessions) is $80 per player, which includes a t-shirt and instruction from a professional coach. T-shirts will be distributed on the first day of each session and should be worn to each session.
- Each program will start on a Monday and run consecutively for six weeks. In the case of inclement weather, please check our website for session cancellations or call our weather line at 720.317.2882. In the event that a session is cancelled, we will reschedule the session on a weekday during the respective make up week:
Program 1 make up week: February 13-17
Program 2 make up week: April 2-6
- Soccer balls (size 3) will be provided during the session.
- Players should wear shin guards and bring water each week. Shin guards are available for sale at the office for $10.00. Soccer cleats are not allowed indoors - please wear gym shoes.
- Similar to outdoor seasons, the first 3 to 5 minutes of the session is a group warm up. Players will spend 20 to 30 minutes engaged in games and drills, and the last 15 minutes is a scrimmage.
- Age eligibility will follow US Youth Soccer standards for Spring 2012. If you are unsure whether your former Grasshopper may be now be a Munchkin, or if your former Munchkin may be too old for
this program, please refer to this chart:
Age Group
Birth Dates
Grasshoppers
4/1/2008 - 11/1/2009
Munchkins
8/1/2006 - 4/1/2008
Please do not hesitate to give our office a call if you have questions regarding what program you should register your player for.
Registration for Program 1 closes on December 23, and on February 3 for Program 2. Don't wait to register your Grasshopper or Munchkin! As always, if you have any additional questions, please give our office a call. We look forward to seeing you this winter!
