Welcome to Skyline Soccer Association

Getting involved in the soccer world can often become a stressful task. We hope this brief overview will give you a sense of where to start and how to become familiar with the world of soccer. Here is a brief overview of what you'll need to get started to have a successful soccer career with Skyline Soccer Association. The website you are on is filled with information, including game schedules, practice schedules, camps & clinics, updated news, field status and more. Please feel free to peruse around for additional information.

1. Register
You have the option to register online, via fax, mail or drop it off at the office. If you are new to Skyline, you will automatically be placed on "unassigned", meaning you have not been assigned to a team yet.

If you are registering online and are mailing in a check, note that your registration is not complete until we have received the check.

To reigster via fax, mail or to drop it off at the office, click HERE. Please print off the corresponding forms that match the program you are registering for. Also, make sure you fill the form out in it's entirety.

Competitive players must provide the office with a copy of their certificate of live birth.

Skyline Soccer Association's refund policy is as such: Refunds will be granted only if you move out of Denver county prior to the start of the season of if the child is unable to participate due to an injury sustained before the start of the season. No refunds will be granted for injuries sustained after the season starts.

Refunds granted are subject to a processing fee, which includes the money paid up front for sports insurance, online registration, field permits and the spot taken up by your child on a team.

Refunds before the start of the season, as defined by the first scheduled game, and requested in writing will be made minus any expenses already incurred, if approved by the General Manager. All requests for refunds will be directed to the Organization registrar.  No refunds will be granted for previous seasons for any reasons.

If your child is not placed on a team, a full refund will be issued.

No refunds will be granted after the third scheduled game for any reason.

2. What team you should register for:
How do you know what age group to put your child into. Follow the link to the birthday chart. For more information on each program, please click on the corresponding program.
U4 - Grasshoppers
U5 - Munchkins
U6 - U18 Developmental
U9 - Cross Quad
U11 - U18 Intermediate
U11 - U18 Competitive
U14 - U18 Metro League

3. Uniforms
All Developmental (Recreational), Cross Quad, Intermediate, Competitive and Metro Teams must buy their own jersey. Please click HERE for information on where to purchase uniforms.

All Munchkin and Grasshopper players will have their jersey's supplied on the first day.

4. Team Formation
If you are brand new to Skyline, once your register, you will be placed on "unassigned" or on a waitlist, depending if you registered before the deadline. If you have friends, family, school area, zip code area, certain practice nights who's team you would like to be on, please note that in the comments section.

Player Placement on Teams:

Returning players will be given first priority for team placement as long as they have:
1. Registered and paid by the registration deadline
2. Requested to have the same team and/or coach

New players are placed on teams where space is available and are given the following priorities:
1. Staff recommendations
2. Firt come, first serve
3. What team or coach was requested

If you registered before the deadline, we will find a team that has openings. If you did not register before the deadline, you be put on a waitlist and will be placed on a team if availability arises.

5. Practices
The coach and team decide when and where they would like to practice. It is the club's responsibility to permit enough fields for all teams to practice. Click HERE to find out where your team will be practicing this season. Practices will be assigned approximately 3 weeks before the first game.

U6 and U7 teams practice one night a week for one hour.
U8 teams either practice one night or two nights a week for one hour.
U9 and U10 teams practice two nights a week for one hour.
U11 and above teams practice two nights a week for 1.5 hours.

6. Games
The game schedules will be posted online several weeks prior to the start of the season. Please click HERE to view this season's games. Please check back frequently as games may change. Coaches are required to contact the opposing team several days beforehand to confirm time and place.

Developmental teams will have 7 - 8 games per season.
Cross Quad teams will have 7 - 8 games per season.
Option 1 (Intermediate) teams will have 9 - 10 games per season.
Competitive teams will have 9 - 10 games per season or 18 games per year.

7. Nets
All Skyline fields have nets for games ONLY. On game days, the first home team on the field in the morning is required to pick up the nets and put them up. The last home team on the field is required to take down the nets and return them to the net keepers home. Find the net schedules HERE.

8. Player pass and roster
All U9 and above teams need player passes with them at all games. This player pass should be kept by the coach and will include a picture of the player. All U11 and above teams must provide an updated roster to the referees prior to games. Both player passes and rosters can be obtained through the Skyline office.

9. Find the club coach schedule
Skyline Soccer Association hires professional coaches to attend several practices throughout the season and evaluate the players and coaches. They also make recommendations on players they feel should move up to Intermediate or Competitive. Find the club coach schedule HERE.

10. Attend our FREE friday night clinics
Each season Skyline hosts FREE Friday night clinics that are open to everyone. These clinics are run by our DOC and club coaches and help improve on specific skills of the players. For an updated listing of our Friday night clinics, please click HERE.

11. Evaluate your son/daughters playing level
Skyline offers our players the ability to play at several different levels. The choice is up to the club coaches, the player's coach, the player and parents to decide if the abilities of the player is good enough to move up with Skyline. Please contact our Director of Coaching about evaluating your child individually.

12. Sign up for summer camps
This year, Skyline will be hosting 6 summer camps that are designed for several different age levels and ability levels. Click HERE to read more information on our camps.
