Volunteer Coaches (Unpaid)
Almost
all programs at Skyline Soccer Association are coached by volunteer coaches. Most of the time, the coach has a child on the team they are coaching. All volunteer coaches must submit to a
background check before any coaching begins. If needed, Skyline staff put on coaching clinics for new coaches. Also, Skyline's club coaches do their best to make it out to each teams practice at
least twice during the season to help give the players a professionals perspective on coaching and to teach the volunteer coach some new drills. One head coach is refunded their registration fees
after the start of the season. If their are two head coaches or one head coach and one assistant coach, often times the coaches will split the refund in half.
Competitive Coaches (Paid)
Skyline Soccer Association is looking to hire professional club coaches for the advanced level soccer teams ages U9 - U18. Skyline Soccer
Association is a non-profit youth soccer club providing youth soccer to over 1,800 youth in the Southeast Denver area since 1965. Skyline is seeking individuals who are passionate about the game
of soccer and have a wealth of soccer experience and knowledge. Commitment includes working two to four nights a week (depending on the number of teams) to conduct training sessions in the
Southeast Denver area and games on the weekend. Games are played on a home and away basis and away travel may include games as far away as Grand Junction, Cheyenne, and Steamboat Springs.
Commitment would be for both the fall 2012 season (August - November) and the spring 2013 season (March - May). A National 'D' coaching license is preferred, but all interested candidates should
apply. Candidates should be interested in furthering their education of the sport and obtaining licenses.
Salary ranges from $1,000 per season to $3,000 per season ($2,000 - $6,000/yr) based on qualifications and
commitment.

Skyline referees are held to a high standard. Becoming a Skyline referee means you will be working with a very committed group that
enjoys the game and truly strives to give back to the community while providing a safe and fun atmosphere for youth to participate in.
Skyline Soccer Association is always looking for quality referees to provide further assistance to our ever growing club. A basic referee can make between $15 - $35 for an hour to two hours of work. The introduction to referee class is called a "Grade 9" class. This class will provide you with the working knowledge to referee games from the eight year olds to the 14 year olds in the Developmental league. Please visit www.coreferees.org for information on upcoming classes. The class will cost around $58, but is reimbursed in full once eight completed games are refereed for Skyline.
Skyline also provides a great online tool to help faciliate the referee game picking process. Visitwww.skylinesoccer.org/referees to view how the process works. You are able to view games online, request games and track your pay.
For more information on becoming a Skyline referee, please email Aaron Nagel at administrator@skylinesoccer.org or call us at 303.691.5662.
