Makeup Games
For U6-U10 teams, Skyline’s policy regarding make up games is as follows. If your game is cancelled on Saturday due to weather, you will make up your game the sunday after the following week’s game (8 calendar days later).
U6 and U7 make ups will be moved from Kennedy Soccer Complex to Rosamond Park (same time, different place).
U8s will make up the game at the same field and at the same time.
U9 and U10 teams will play at the same time, but play at Southmoor rather than Kennedy Soccer Complex. Referees will be scheduled for all makeup games, but it is the responsibility of the coach to contact the Skyline office if they will not be able to play the Sunday make up game.
Any make up games for U11 and above are the sole responsibility of the Coach/Asst. Coach/Managers of both teams scheduled. Before contacting the administrator, please get in contact with the opposing coach/team and figure out three (3) times and places that work for both teams. Then either call the Skyline office at 303.691.5662 or email administrator@skylinesoccer.org. The administrator will then assign a field, time and referees for the make up game to be played.

Sideline Behavior Policy
Skyline's has a zero tolerance policy in respect to sideline and coaching behavior. Its motto is WHEN IN DOUBT LET THEM PLAY! Excessive coaching from the sidelines by parents is to be strongly discouraged and only positive reinforcement should be provided to our players by coaches and sideline spectators. It is Skyline's policy that continued violations of this rule will result in the removal of the individuals from the organization.
Parents/Guardians are expected to be positive role models while on the sidelines during games and practices. There will be ZERO TOLERANCE regarding any interactions from the parents to the referees, coaches, players, or visiting parents. Disciplinary actions will be taken if there are any issues.

All person must register before a fee waiver will be considered. After the start of the season, refunds will be issued in the following accordance.
Board Members: Two fee waivers per season.

- Waivers cannot be used for an entire year; participants must re-register each season if using a waiver.
- A fee waiver only applies to registration fees for the spring or fall season. Clinics, camps and other supplemental activities do not qualify for a fee waiver.
Referee Policy
Skyline develops its referees through a bottom-up approach, providing instruction and experience at the developmental level. Skyline Board members and coaches actively participate in observing and nurturing the referees on the fields.
With experience and growth, referees are promoted to competitive level games which their skills and talents are closely matched to the skills level of each game.
It is the policy of Skyline to have assigned three USSF certified referees for each competitive game. Within the developmental program it is our policy to assign three qualified referees for each home game.
Skyline also offers training at the club level for parents and coaches to learn the rules of soccer and to enable them to center referee and line games.
Referees must be 12 years old by the first game of the season to be eligible for any refereeing duties or any training.
Team Contribution
Skyline will make every effort to provide three qualified referees to each home game. Center referees on all Inter-league and Recreational games (U9 and above) will be USSF certified. Referees on U6-U8 games will be club trained. In order to provide these referees, ALL teams are being asked to encourage participation. In the event that a qualified team of officials are not available, the following requirements have been approved in order to provide club trained substitutions.
Competitive Teams
Competitive teams are to encourage players, parents, and siblings to participate in the USSF referee program. By refereeing, each competitive member can give back to the Skyline Soccer Program.
Intermediate and Recreational Teams (U9-U18)
All U9-U18 Intermediate and recreational teams must provide two volunteers who will attend linesman training and will be available at all home and away games to run the line if requested by the referee.
Recreational Teams (U6-U8)
Skyline utilizes volunteers to officiate the fun games that take place from U6-U8. We offer a "rules class" for volunteers willing to help out with this aspect of our program. We provide a whistle and age appropriate rules.
Tournament Policy
Skyline Soccer encourages its teams to participate in supplemental activities including tournaments. To that end, Skyline will reimburse teams up to $100 per tournament for up to two tournaments per year for tournament registration fees. To be eligible for reimbursement, the following conditions apply:
- Tournament playing format must be the same as normal league format. For example, an 11v11 or 8v8 team cannot receive reimbursement for a 3v3 event. The only exception is the Spring 4v4 tournament sponsored by CYS (for U6, U7 and U8 teams) in which U8 teams must play 4v4 instead of 8v8.
- Teams must fulfill their Club referee requirement.
- Acceptance of entry into the tournament as well as proof of payment must be supplied to the club within 2 weeks of acceptance into the tournament to receive reimbursement. A copy of the acceptance letter or schedule and a check copy is required.
The $200 per year limit may be applied to a minimum of two tournaments at $100 each or split between several. Any unused amounts may not be carried over to following seasons. The $100 per tournament refund will not be issued for more than the tournament entry fee.
