Program Summaries

Whether you are new to soccer or have been playing your whole life, Skyline Soccer has a program that will fit your needs.  From our Grasshoppers and Munchkins program, which provides soccer to the young ones ages 2, 3, 4 and 5, to our Competitive program for the more experienced player who wants to take his or her game to the next level, and anything in between. Any confusion in programs can be addressed by viewing our Program Flow Chart

The Grasshoppers program is designed for the 2 1/2 to 4 year olds.  This is the earliest age group we offer at Skyline.  Grasshoppers is for the beginning player and is based around having fun and being active while playing soccer.

Our next level is Munchkins and is for the 4 to 5 1/2 year olds.  The Munchkins program is going to be based on the same concept that Grasshoppers is (fun, active) but here we will begin to implement some very basic soccer concepts to the players.

If you are just getting started in soccer, our Developmental program is the most likely fit for you.  With divisions from U6 all the way to U18, no matter what your age, if you want to start playing soccer, this is the place to do it.  Have fun and learn the fundamentals from our experienced volunteer and club coaches.

At the U9 age division, Skyline offers a Cross Quad program for the players who are excelling and want a glimpse at what Competitive life will be like once they get to that age group.  No try-outs are held, and any player who wants to play Cross Quad will have the opportunity.

At U10, Skyline offers another “pre-competitive” league, our Intermediate (option 1) league. Where at the U10 age level your player who is interested in playing competitively will get the coaching and guidance to help them in their goal of playing in that competitive league at the U11 level.  No try-outs will be held, and any player who wants to play Intermediate will have the opportunity.  The Intermediate league holds two more games per season than Cross Quad and Developmental.

Skyline's Competitive Program is for those with a little more commitment and skills on the soccer field.  The program starts in the U11 age group and continues up to U18.  Every spring (usually in May), Skyline holds try-outs for the Competitive teams.

Besides being able to play at the Intermediate and Competitive level during high school, Skyline also offers the ability to play Metro League. Metro League is a fun, developmental approach to high school soccer for U15 - U18 players. Girls play in the spring and boys and girls both play in the fall.
