Summer Kick-Around Information

What is Summer Kick-Around (SKA)?
The Summer Kick-Around (SKA) is a for fee program ($65 includes t-shirt) designed to give players the opportunity to continue playing during the summer months for current U5 - U10. The Summer Kickaround will be run by paid staff.

When are the Summer Kick-Around sessions?
The SKA sessions are held once a week for 6 weeks during the summer months.

What does the SKA look like?
Players will be run through a group warm-up by the site director. From there, players are split by age/skill levell and move in a station-to-station format. Each station will be led by a paid coach. At the end, players are split into teams and play in mini scrimmages or matches, called Super Blue Cup.

What is Super Blue Cup?
For the final thirty minutes of each session, players will be split up into different teams. Players play 7-10 minute games (3 per night). Each player is awarded points based on their team's result. Players get a point for each goal scored by their team and points for the result (three for a win, one for a draw, zero for a loss). For example, if team A beats team B by a score of 4 -1, all players on team A receive 7 points (4 points for 4 goals + 3 points for a victory) and all players on team B receive 1 point (1 point for 1 goal + 0 for a defeat). Each game, teams will be split up randomly to ensure players are meeting new players and having a different experience. At the end of each session, the individual(s) with the most points wins a prize.

How do players sign-up?
Players will register using Skyline's online registration system. Click HERE to sign up now.
