See the links below for the schedules of the two leagues that 9U/10U teams play in.

Elite Teams and 2012 Faulkner Team : Fall 2020 CSA Front Range League

Rec Plus and Recreational Teams: Fall 2020 LSC, HRSA & Skyline 9U-12U Interleague

Applying Spring 2020 Credits to Spring 9U-10U Rec Registration

When you register for Spring 2021 you will be asked about your Spring 2020 credits and how you would like them to be applied if you have not already used them in Fall 2020.
If you chose to have a portion or the total of your credits applied to your recent registration, you MUST choose the payment plan option and pay the initial fee. After you are finished registering, we will go into your account and put in that dollar amount of your credit.

Recreational / Rec Plus

  • The Recreational program in Skyline is designed to continue the long tradition of Skyline’s fun, community atmosphere.
  • 9U/10U Recreational teams participate in the new Interleague Program or the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) Recreational Leagues. Teams play seven versus seven (7v7) format with goalkeepers for 8 games per season.
  • Each team will practice one-two times a week with their volunteer coach.
  • Games are played in a home/away format with opponents. For Interleague, games will be at either a Skyline or Littleton United field. For CSA Front Range League, travel outside of Denver and surrounding areas may be required for games.  Games are refereed by certified referees at 9U/10U.
  • The Fall Recreational season runs from August – October, and the Spring season runs from March – May.  The Rec Plus season runs from August – May.  During the summer and winter months, we do offer camps and clinics.

Fall 2020 Season Dates

  • 8/14: 9U/10U Rec Registration Deadline
  • 9/1: CSA Releases Schedules for all FRL 9U/10U teams
  • 9/12: 9U-10U Opening Weekend for Games
  • 10/31: Last Day to Play Games (Interleague)
  • 11/7: Last Day to Play Games (CSA League)
  • After players have registered, the Skyline staff will build out all of our teams. Here is some insight into the process:
  • Returning players have first priority to the team they were on previously but they must register prior to the registration deadline.
  • From there, we will begin putting new players on rosters, according to player’s registration date and registration requests to teams that have space remaining.
  • If there are enough new players, Skyline will look to build new teams.
  • Skyline will work with newly formed teams to confirm a volunteer coach and practice locations/times/days.
  • When you register be sure to fill out the request fields so we can find a team that best fits you! Always remember that we do offer refunds if we are unable to find a team that fits your needs.

Skyline is now an adidas club and requires adidas uniforms on an ongoing two-year uniform cycle.  The latest cycle began with the Fall 2019 season and the next cycle will begin in the Fall 2021 season.  For ordering and more information go to our Uniforms page in the menu above.

  • Rec Plus players will participate in a weekly Skills session with paid, higher level coaches and DOC’s.  This is for those rec players who wish to have more development and the goal of playing competitive one day.
  • Rec Plus fees are different as the commitment is for the entire year, both the fall and spring seasons.
  • Teams are still formed by coach and friend requests, but the team agrees to practicing more and attending Skills.
  • Rec and Rec Plus teams have the option of participating in either the new Interleague Program with Littleton United or the CSA Front Range League.
  • Playing in the Interleague will mean that your home games are at a Skyline field and your away games are at a United field.  Playing in the CSA Front Range League will mean that your home games are at Kennedy Soccer complex and your away games could be anywhere in the greater Denver Metro area and could mean travel north to Fort Collins or and south to Pueblo or Colorado Springs.
  • Travel time could be very different for your season based on which league you choose.

Elite

  • The Elite Program is the pre-competitive program designed to better prepare 9U/10U players for the Competitive Program at 11U.
  • Elite teams participate in Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) Intermediate Leagues. Teams play seven versus seven (7v7) format with goalkeepers for 8 games per season.  All home games will be played at Kennedy Soccer Complex.
  • Team will practice two times per week with optional (but highly recommended) Age Group Training (AGT) on Fridays at Kennedy Soccer Complex.
  • Games are played in a home/away format with opponents. Some travel outside of Denver and surrounding areas may be required for games. Games are refereed by certified referees at this age group.
  • The program is a one year commitment and runs from August – May.

Fall 2020 Season Dates

  • 7/31: 9U/10U Elite Registration Deadline
  • 9/1: CSA Releases Schedules for all 9U/10U teams
  • 9/12: 9U-10U Opening Weekend for Games
  • 11/7: Last Day to Play Games

Normally Elite teams are formed through attendance at the ID Camp as well as player assessments throughout the 8U year ensuring all players are ready to participate in the Elite Program.

Teams that will play in the Fall 2020/Spring 2021 season will be formed differently from past season due to COVID-19 and required protocols.  The following will be used fro assessment and team formation.

Assessment – Times that will be used for player assessment will begin with late July training sessions and run through August training sessions and the Skyline Cup. These assessments will be used for team formation.

Skyline Cup – If we are able to hold the event it will be used as an opportunity for assessment and team formation.  Additional fees would apply.

Team Formation – Teams will not be finalized until late August.

Skyline understands that each player develops differently. These assessments are based on what the player is showcasing at that point in time and not an assessment for their entire soccer career.
