9U - 10U Elite - Birth Year 2015 - 2014

  • The Elite Program is the pre-competitive program designed to better prepare 9U/10U players for the Competitive Program at 11U.

  • Elite teams participate in Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) Intermediate Leagues. Teams play seven versus seven (7v7) format with goalkeepers for 8 games per season.  All home games will be played at Kennedy Soccer Complex.

  • Teams will practice two times per week with optional (but highly recommended) Age Group Training (AGT) on Fridays at Kennedy Soccer Complex.

  • Games are played in a home/away format with opponents. Some travel outside of Denver and surrounding areas may be required for games. Games are refereed by certified referees at this age group. *Due to a CSA referee shortage, a certified ref is not guaranteed.

  • The program is a one-year commitment and runs from August – May.

  • Teams playing the Front Range and Advance league must comply with CSA roster limitations, age restrictions and player verification rules.

In order to be considered for the Elite program, attendance is mandatory at the the following tryouts:

Elite teams are formed through attendance at the ID Camp as well as player assessments throughout the 8U year ensuring all players are ready to participate in the Elite Program.

Teams that will play in the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 season will be formed using the following for assessment and team formation.

  • Assessment – Times that will be used for player assessment will begin with late July training sessions and run through August training sessions and the Skyline Cup. These assessments will be used for team formation.

  • Skyline Cup – The event will be used as an opportunity for assessment and team formation.

  • Team Formation – Teams will not be finalized until late August.

Skyline understands that each player develops differently. These assessments are based on what the player is showcasing at that point in time and not an assessment for their entire soccer career.

*The Skyline Elite program normally holds a 9U-10U Player ID Camp in May to provide recommendations for player placement.

Skyline is now an adidas club and requires adidas uniforms on and ongoing two-year uniform cycle. The latest cycle began with the Fall 2023 season and the next cycle will begin in the Fall 2025 season.

Elite teams will receive more information regarding uniforms after registrations and closer to team formation. For ordering and more information go to our Uniforms page.

Skyline has three programs for these ages; Recreational, Developmental Rec and Elite.  Please refer to the chart before to determine which program best fits your player.
